GRACE IS GOD'S WILLINGNESS: "Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to them also which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all." (Romans 4:16). Some may say, "That promise was not to us. It was just to Abraham." But the promise is to all the seed. It is of faith, that it might be by grace... Grace is God's willingness to use His power and ability on your and my behalf, even though you are me don't deserve it. God is willing. Grace is His willingness God's Grace is more than just unmerited favor. We have always heard that God's grace is unmerited favor. But ask yourself this: if God was in favor of your being saved or delivered, or healed, or meeting your needs, but not willing to get personally involved in it, would it have helped you? What if God had said, "if the world can save itself, it's all right with Me. But I'm not going to get involved"! Just being in favor of it would not have helped us. We would have died and gone to hell. But God did get personally involved. So, grace is more than unmerited favor, it is also God's willingness to use His power on our behalf. "Therefore, it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all." (Romans 4:16). The Scriptures tells us that God preached the gospel of faith first to Abraham That's right God taught Abraham faith. (Galatians 3:8). Even though there was not much teaching on faith in the Old Testament, they operated in faith. he believed what God said--- and it was imputed to them for righteousness. Yet there was not much said about how to obtain in faith, or how to use it. God taught the gospel of faith first to Abraham. In (Romans 4:17), Paul refers to (Genesis chapter 17, where God spoke to Abram. PRECEPT: "As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations, before him whom he believed, even God, who quickens the dead and calleth those things which be not as though they were." (Romans 4:17). The apostle Paul gives reference to Genesis 17 where God said, "I have made you the father of many nations." Notice that God didn't say He was going to do it. There was Abram. He did not have the promise child. The first time God spoke this promise to Abram, he was "only 75 years old. But before it came to pass, he was 100 years old. Now you can see why the Scriptures say that there was no hope, Abraham believed in hope. (Romans 4: 18). He believed God for 25 years before he saw the promise come to pass. God sometimes reveals things to us that it might take years to bring about. You may get a revelation in your spirit of things God is going to do. For instance, 20 years ago I knew things about the ministry I am in that are currently happening right now. These things didn't happen the next year: it has taken years. I knew it through the eye faith. God gave it to me by revelation. But I didn't go out and tell everybody, I had to develop the God kind of faith: in other words, I had to do my part. We make a mistake when we tell everything we know. Confession brings possession! God said, put Him in remembrance: (Isaiah 43:26). "Let us plead together; declare thou, that thou mayest be justified." What are you putting God in remembrance of? The problems you're having here on the earth. Or the promises that he made in his Word concerning you! God knows, all about your situation or your circumstances. However, "He has (sent), given us His Word and healed us and delivered us from all our destruction". (Psalms 107:20) ". And they that call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved, delivered, and have preservation, and soundness: (Revelation 19:13) "And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood; and his Name is called The Word of God! Think about that for a moment. Put the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in remembrance of what is written, and I guarantee you will see the results of your prayers answered. We all need to go back and look at the early church how they operate in the principles of faith and prayer. I challenge you to do a study Of the Book of Acts. There weren't any programs organized worship or Another Gospel. Think about that.
