GOD'S METHOD----Law of FAITH PRINCIPLE: I'm glad some people I know didn't live in Abraham's day. They would have done their best to talk him out of believing God's promise. Just like some people today the traditional movement of men church! They would have said, "You Just ate too much chili. You don't really hear from God. You're just an old man. It was just a dream." But God knows how the Law of faith works. He planned it so that Abram would have to say, "I am the father of nations." Every time he said his name; he heard the Word of God. That was God's Word to him. As he heard the Word of God for himself, faith came. For faith cometh by hearing and the reciprocal of that, fear comes by hearing. Faith came many years before the manifestation came. This is something I want to stress. Don't expect to become highly developed in faith overnight, because you have been highly developed in saying what the world and the devil has said, and your tradition has made the Word of God of none effect in your lives. It just doesn't happen that fast. In many cases it does! It takes time. There is a process of learning and applying the Law of faith principle of God. We need a Word of caution here. People get into trouble when they think they can go to a seminar and come home a three-day wonder. But they do make you wonder, "what happened to them?" You want to know if their mind went out for lunch and didn't return. They go back into their church and do all kinds of crazy things and call it faith. Then the pastor has two pick up the pieces because they didn't get in on all the teaching. In many cases similarity is just intellectual rubbish. Abraham did not deny the fact by saying, "I'm not old." He called it the way God called it, and he overcame the facts. If you want the same type of results, then you're going to have to do what God taught Abraham to do; and it takes time to develop the God kind of faith, calling those things that be not as though they were. You will notice it was 25 years from the time God made the promise to Abraham until it came to pass. We make a mistake when we think everything is going to happen in a few days. When I start praying the Scriptures (Ephesians 1:15 to 18; 3:14 to 21). It took a couple of years before the manifestation started to happen in my life, I had to get all of that religious clutter that were handed down by traditions of men, things that I heard in what is called church, that's not even in the Word of God. Growing in faith is a process. Today you are the sum total of the things you have said and practice in days past. You can change that, but you can't do it overnight. It will take time to do it. You must learn how to operate in God's Law of faith principle for these are kingdom principles. Some people tried to go beyond the capabilities of their faith level. Wouldn't it be foolish for a man to buy a brand-new truck, then by a yacht and have it loaded onto his pickup? When the yacht is lifted onto the truck, it breaks in half. Then he tells everyone, "Trucks don't work. Yes, trucks work. But he overloaded it. It wasn't designed to carry that load. He went far beyond the ability of the truck. Many people go far beyond their faith ability and fail. Then they say it must not be God's will. You can overload your faith. You must learn to recognize the level to which your faith is developed; then operate on that level until you develop to a higher level. Practice God's principle to set them in motion. Put them to work in your life in situation that you are probably dealing with now, things that you are waiting on God to fix. For the promises of God's Word are as near to you as getting them in your mouth, and then in your heart. Dare to speak His Word of promise over your life and your family lives. Dare to cause faith to come by hearing your voice declaring God's Word after Him. For this is the righteousness which is of faith.
