THE SPIRIT OF FEAR KEEPS BAD COMPANY !

FEAR KEEPS BAD COMPANY ! Torment get you thinking: yeah, THE WORD OF GOD works but it doesn't work for me. Or, I know the Bible says by His stripes I was healed, "but" the doctor just called and said my test results are bad. Or, Sure, God said He will meets all my needs according to His riches in glory, "but" what if He doesn't do it this time ? I want you to notice that every one of those statements contains the word "but" which indicates everything said, before is incorrect and comes from unbelief its a form of disobedience. In statements like the ones above, "but" is the bridge of unbelief; it means that you are not totally persuaded that the Word of God is true in your life. My brothers and sisters, you have to be a doer of the Word of God not just a hearer: people that just hear the word deceive their own hearts. (James 1:22-through 25) "But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like a man beholding his natural face in a mirror; for he behold himself and goes his way, and immediately forget what manner of man he was. But whosoever look at into the perfect law of liberty, and continues in it, (Practicing it) he being not a forgetful hearer but a door of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed." And unbelief is completely, and totally fear dependent. To get rid of the fear and the torment that goes with it, you must get your "but" out of the way. Did you get what I just said ? I didn't say you should cope with the fear. I didn't say you should manage it. I said get rid of it ! There's a big difference between coping with fear and having no fear. Even unsaved people can cope with fear. A rodeo cowboy, for example, has a very dangerous profession. His job is to get on a big, mad, mean bull and ride the thing with out getting hurt or kill. Obviously, to do that he has to manage his fear, and he'll probably do it so well that if you watch him in a rodeo, you'll think he is absolutely fearless. Yet, that same cowboy will get in his truck and drive to his next performance worrying the whole time about his marriage. He'll be scared that his wife is going to leave him. He managed fear in one area, but it is still there. Anyone can cope with fear if they have enough training. That's not what God wants for us. When He tells New Testament believers to fear not, He isn't telling us to manage our fear. God is not in the business of telling you to do something that you cannot do: he is telling us to totally eradicate it and flushed it completely out of our lives. How do we do that ? I'm glad you asked. We do it, by confessing God's Holy written Word. God said he did not give you are Me the spirit of fear ! If God didn't give it to you, you have no business operating in it, and expecting God to move on your behalf. We have to be obedient to God's Word. Another way I'm going to say it, God has told me to say what He has said. So who told you that God's method will not work for you? That spirit that you are listening to, it is a lie. That demon or demons is a flat out liar ! It's a fact that Jesus has redeemed us from the curse.(Galatians 3:13) and furthermore, all sickness, all diseases, are associated with fear and disobedience.
