THE SPIRIT OF FEAR KEEPS BAD COMPANY !

FEAR KEEPS BAD COMPANY ! People do the same thing today. Good, God loving people trying to control their children with fear. Have you ever wonder why they're such a thing as a generational curse ? It's because children are raised by their parents, and parents pass along their fears to their children. I saw the results of it years ago in the life of a minister. In middle age, he began to experience heart problems and went to one of the Bible studies to get them to pray for him. When he explained his situation to them, he said, my dad died with heart trouble. My granddad died with heart trouble. Neither of them live to see their 60th birthday. I have high blood pressure and heart trouble now. My mother always told me that the men in our family died young with heart trouble, and it's starting to look like she was right." Looking him straight in the eye, my friend said, "Tell me the truth about that." Puzzled, he answered, "I just told you the truth." Then he started telling them the whole story again. He interrupted him. "I told you to tell me the truth about that !" This time he was mad. "Man," he said, "I just told you the truth about it." Describing the incident to me later he said, "Bobby, at that point he literally boxed my ears ! He slaps his hands on the sides of his head, shook it, and said, have you read (Isaiah 53 ?" "Yes, I have." "Well, then, what does it say ?" "It says by His stripes I were healed." "That's right!" He said, "And that's the truth about the matter." He told me later that when he walked in the door, he saw the spirit of death on him. He knew he had to get through to him quickly because he was dying. He was killing himself just like his dad and granddad had done. Why ? Because of what his mother had been telling him. She'd been feeding him heart problem fear for years because she was afraid he was going to die, and it almost killed him. A few years later, I ran into him in the Bible study. When I walked in, he was talking on the phone. After he hung up, he said, "Bobby, sit down here. I want to tell you the story." He told for a while about how my friend had pray for him. Then he grinned and said, "I was just now on the phone talking to the doctor who gives me a physical every year. This is my 60th birthday and he said I have the heart of a 16 year old kid !" He and I had a good time praising THE LORD together because that generational curse of fear and heart disease has been broken. The anointed truth of THE WORD OF God had destroyed the yoke of the devil and made him free. You to can be free from the spirit of fear: go ahead I dare you to say what God has said: and to believe (Romans 10: 8) of The Word of God; and break the generation curses that you are living under. (Galatians 3: "13)"
