THE SPIRIT OF FEAR KEEPS BAD COMPANY !

FEAR KEEPS BAD COMPANY ! If that's not enough to convince you to "fear not," here is another fact that should seal the deal: Fear itself is a sin. "Oh, Brother Lewis, you can't be serious !" I am as serious as can be. Sin is anything that un-connect you from THE BLESSING and connect you with death, sickness, and disease including everything that is a part of the curse, that is not mentioned in (Deuteronomy 28 beginning at verse 15). Many things people think are sin aren't sin at all. Some some people believe with all their hearts that using deodorant is a sin. (Personally, I am more inclined to believe that it's a sin not to use it !) Yet those same people will wallow around in fear for years without realizing they're indirect disobedience to THE WORD OF God. Apparently, they've never paid much attention to (Revelation 21:7-8), which says: "He that overcome shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." I believe many people don't pay attention to the Bible at all, unless something tragic take place in their life. Those verses put fear in very bad company. This list is right alongside such things as unbelief, murder and whoremongering. That's why I'm shocked when I hear about pastors of what is called churches: I'm talking about people not buildings and preachers who are to know better, saying, "Well, everyone has to be afraid of something. A little fear can be a good thing." Is that right ? You really believe a little fear is a good thing ? "Yes, amen. That's the truth." Well, how about a little unbelief then ? That's probably a good thing too, isn't it ? How about a little abomination are murder or lying ? How about a little whoring around ? You think your wife will agree that's a good thing ? Fear in any measure is totally unacceptable, because it is the spirit of the antichrist. Going to a horror movie is no different than looking at pornography. It's wrong. It will connect you to a spirit that you, as a child of God, have no business being connected to. It Is Not Okay. It is a sin because there is death in it. You won't believe for you healing, or your deliverance, or your soundness of mind; or your provisions being met financially are materially. When you get right down to it, fear is actually faith in reverse and it is death. The fear of a dangerous animal is faith in that animal's ability to hurt our kill you. Fear of disease is faith in the power of that disease to destroy your body. Fear of death is faith in its power and authority. Fear's objective is to create unbelief. Its goal is to get you to believe something other than what God's Word has said about your situation, not just to make you feel scared. In fact, it's possible to be full our fear about something without having any of the jumpy, spine chilling sensations we normally associated with being frightened. How, then, can we recognize fear when it tries to come on us ? According to (1 John 4:18), Fear has torment." If fear is there, so is torments. Worry is torment. Anxiety is torment. Torments is the element Satan uses to cause you to think that God is not going to help you this time. are The Word of God is not going to work! It will if you would do what it says.
