FAITH CONFESSION----WHY IT WORKS : In this lesson we are dealing with line confessing God's Word works. When You Tell People to Confess the Word and pray The Word of God they get all kinds of ideas about what you mean. Soon thank you mean they should go to their banker and quote Scriptures to them, when they can't pay their bills. Confessing the word of God is for the purpose of hearing yourself saying the same thing that God said about you. It's not the to the bank to hear; it's not up to the neighbors to hear it; God wants you and me to hear it. Because, "Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God ." To confess mean "to say the same thing," or "to admit." Confessing God's Word is admitting that God's Word is true. Confession is a way to process the things God has already given by the Word of promise. But many fail to grasp this Bible truth. Some run into the ditch on the right side of the road and some run into the ditch on the left side of the road because they have not understood these kingdom principles. Let me remind you, that the kingdom of God is within you, if you are a born again believer of the Lord Jesus Christ. When you really understand faith and confession, you can rightly apply it to your life and stay out of the ditch. There are those who will say, "this is to mechanical; you are just trying to force God into something." No, did not our Father say put Him in remembrance, it's not as though he forgot what he said. His Word is settled for ever in heaven, therefore we must settle on earth. No, this is God's kingdom principle of faith in action. Confession is a way to possession. It isn't the only way, but it's one Bible Way. I want you to see what Jesus said in the parable of the sower. "Hear ye them for the parable of the sower. When anyone heareth the Word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side." (Matthew 13:18---19). The account of this parable in (Mark 4:14--20) is a little different from Matthews. Let's compare it with Mark (4:15). "And these are they by the way side, where the Word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the Word that was sown in their hearts." (Mark 4:15). Mark says when the seed of the word of God is sown in the heart [spirit], Satan comes immediately and taketh away the Word [seed]. If you read this account and don't read the account in Matthew, you would think that Satan could still do word from your heart anytime he wants to. But he can't. (Matthew 13:19), states, "When any one heareth the Word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not...." This is the reason it's so easy for Satan to steal the Word from some people. They heard it, but didn't understand it. If you understand the word of the kingdom of God that is sown in your heart [spirit] Satan cannot steal it from you. It can't be taken from you. Jesus established this point with Martha when she was concerned about Mary sitting at the feet of Jesus, hearing the Word. "And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, now all careful and troubled about many things: but one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her." (Luke 10:41--42). Jesus said the word that Martha was receiving wouldn't be taken from her by Satan or anyone else. This indicates that she understood the word that Jesus taught. That's why teaching is so important. If it is taught accurately, more people will understand it and stop Satan from stealing the Word. There are seven primary reasons why the confession of God's word works for you, as well as for me.
