Faith and Confession and Corresponding Action !

FAITH AND CONFESSION AND CORRESPONDING ACTION : "Did you see that sign out there on our piece of property ?" The preacher's wife said, "Yes, I saw it." My head gave me trouble over that sign. Just as Peter had trouble when he got out of the boat and began to see the wind and the waves, I thought about it, in fact, I talked to my wife about it. He said, "maybe I ought to go talk to those people about that piece of property." He was thinking it may get away. His mind Kept Bugging him about it. Finally, one morning as he was walking through the house he realized what was happening. The enemy was trying to get him off of faith with that sign. So he just hollered out loud, "I know what I'll do. Nothing ! Jesus said It Would Obey Me." In that particular case, his corresponding action was to do nothing. It would have been foolish to go down to the courthouse and say, "I want to file a claim on this piece of property." They would say, "where is the deed ? You can't record the deed until you have possession of it." "Well, he said it's not manifest yet." They would have run him out of there and said, "you are a nut." But you see, that is trying to have full corresponding actions before the manifestation comes. As far as he could go toward that situation was to do nothing. Because he had done all he could do. He had made the man and offer. He had talked to the property. He had done everything the Word said to do about it. He had prayed about it, and now it was time to rest in what he had said and what he had done. As David said, "Commit that way unto the Lord: trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass." (Psalms 37:5). Well, a few weeks went by and they had the plans drawn up to build a building on that property. He was down at White River, where they have a fishing camp, taking dominion over the fish. He called home and his wife said, "the lady from the real estate company wants to talk to you right away." So he called her, and she said, "are you still interested in that piece of property ?" He said, "yes, he was." She said, "would you give what you offered for it ?" He replied, "he guess he would." She said, "you know, it's funny--- they have decided that they want to build over here on the other street." He said, "he don't doubt it." Now the full manifestation had come. She said, "in a few days she will have the papers all grown up and you can come and pick up the deed." You see, no action was his corresponding action and that situation. When you have done all you can do, all the Word of God said to do, all you know to do naturally about the situation, that is the time to rest and what you have already done .(Psalms 37:5). Let's look at another example found in Mark, chapter 5. "And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him [Jesus], he [Jairus] failed at his feet, and besought him greatly, saying, my little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live. And Jesus went with him; and much people followed him, and thronged him." (Mark 5:22--24). Notice, Jesus immediately went with Jairus. He was on His way to heal his daughter. Because of his statement of faith ! Then a woman with an issue of blood came in from behind [Jesus] and touched the hem His garment and received her healing and testified, telling them all the truth. It probably took her and our to tell all that had happened to her. Then a runner came and said to Jairus, "your little daughter is already dead."
