EXCEEDINGLY GROWING FAITH: "Through Faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear." (Hebrews 11:3). How did God do it ? God believed that what He said would come to pass. You and I all created in the image and likeness of God, therefore you must believe what you say will come to pass. He spoke the Word and there was earth. He spoke into existence the vegetable kingdom. He spoke into existence the animal kingdom. He spoke into existence the heavens and the earth, the moon, the sun, the stars and the universe. He said it, and it was so. That is the God kind of faith. God believe what he said would come to pass, and it did ! Jesus demonstrated that God kind of faith to His disciples, and then He told them that they had that kind of faith--- the faith in which a man or woman believes with their hearts, says with their mouth what he or she believes, and it comes to pass. Someone might say, "I want that kind of faith. I am going to pray that God will give it to me." If you attempt this, you are wasting your time. You don't need to pray for it; you already have it. However, you have developed it in the negative stream. (Romans 12:3) "For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that he is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath or have dealt to every man the measure of faith." Every believer has been dealt the measure of the God kind of faith. Again, however many of you have developed it in reverse gear. Paul wrote this to believers, for he says, "to every man that is among you." The epistle which are the letters to the Romans is not written to the sinners in the world; it is written to believers as most of you would like to say Christians. The letter is addressed to, "all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints . . ." (Romans 1:7). An in this letter we are told that God has given to "everyman [that is among believers you ! The measure of faith." Every believer, every child of God, every Christian does have the measure of the God kind of faith. And again, the world and the devil has told you to use it in the negative stream. Further proof of this is seen in (Ephesians 2:8), "For by grace are you saved; and this word saved just doesn't mean saved to go to heaven, this word saved also means delivered, safety, preservation, soundness, healing. From the powers of the devil and the world. Jesus done it when he was upon the cross and said it is finished. Through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God." The faith is not of yourself, however you must do your part and get the word in your mouth and in your heart. He is not talking about the grace, for everyone knows that grace is not of yourself. He is saying that the faith by which you and me are delivered, are set free from the powers of darkness and of the devil and of the world is not of yourself. That's why so many struggle with trying to get rid of habits, because they are trying to do it on their own power or strength. It is not a natural human faith. It was given to sinners by God. And how did God give the center faith to be saved ? (Romans 10:17) says, "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."
