Exceedingly Growing Faith !

EXCEEDINGLY GROWING FAITH : "I beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be you transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." I had preached for more than 15 years before I saw something in this Scripture which astonished me. Holy is not writing this to unbelievers, but to believers. The letter was addressed, "To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints. . ." (Romans 1:7). He is writing to men and women have been born again and filled with the Holy Spirit, yet he says to them, "you need to do something with your bodies and your minds." It came as a shock to me when I saw that here were people who were saved and filled with the Holy Spirit, yet their bodies and minds had not been affected. The New birth That is not a rebirth of the human body, nor is it a rebirth of the human mind, but a rebirth of the human spirit. And the infilling of the Holy Spirit is not a physical experience, but a spiritual experience. According to these verses of Scripture, we have to do something with our bodies. Many believers or Christians if you would or bodily rule because of a unrenewed mind. The soul of man is the part of the brain that house, your will, your emotions, and your intellect. This part of mankind who is born again did not receive any changes. We have to present them to God a living sacrifice. And we have to do something with our minds. We have to get them renewed with the Word of promise. This is something that we do, not something God does. God is eternal life. He offers us His Spirit. But God doesn't do anything with our bodies or our minds because you and I are free moral agents we can choose. If anything is done with our body, you will have to do it. The word says for you to present your body unto God. Why ? Because your body is the temple of a living God. Nobody us can do it for you. The bottom line is that you have to make up your mind of who you are going to serve. Either you going to serve self, the world and the devil, or God of all creation. The word says that you are to be "transformed by the renewing of your mind." And your mind is renewed through the Word of God. Or you are being conformed to this world. Manny is a spirit. He is in the same class with God--- made in the image and likeness of God. Some would have you believe that man is just an animal. If that were true, it would be no more wrong to kill a man and eat him than it would be to kill a child and eat it. Man has a physical body in which he and she lives, but they are not an animal. He is much more than just mind and body. He is spirit, soul, and body. He is a spirit; Let me also interject this thought, spirits or eternal and will live forever, either in hell, or in heaven. Or Hades was not created for man, it was created for the fallen ones. Man in his pre-adamant nature will go to hell, because the rejection of Jesus who is the Messiah the Christ. And unbelief, is caused by what you believe. Man is a spirit; he has a soul; he lives in a body. It is the fact that man is a spirit that makes him different from animals.
