DON'T STUMBLE AROUND IN THE DARK---TURN ON THE LIGHT ! I remember times where I'd stayed up studying into the wee hours of the morning, when it was dark and everyone was asleep. It would be so quiet, you could practically hear the silence. Then, somewhere outside, I'd hear a noise. Boom ! I'd think, what was that ? But I wasn't all that quick to jump up and check it out. After all, it was dark outside. Who wants to go poking around in the dark ? Why, anything might happen ! The funny thing is, if I had been studying in broad daylight, and heard the same noise, I wouldn't have paid any attention to it. If I had, I'd just look outside to see what was going on. Then I'd go back to what I was doing. That's the difference between darkness and light. Fear abides in darkness. Things that seem scary in the dark doesn't bother us at all in the daylight. So, the key to living fear free is: stay in the light of God's Word. Keep walking in love. That's what Jesus did. He not only lived a fear free life but a sin free life by continually keeping the command of love. At the end of His earthly ministry, He said to His disciples: "As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue you in my love, if you keep my commandments, you shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, (orders) and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. This is my commandment, that you love one another, as I have loved you (John 15:9-12). I like to paraphrase it this way: "Now boys and girls let Me make it easy for you. I know there are a lot of commandments but I'm going to give you just one. You walk in love and THE BLESSING will work in your lives, What we have seen an our-selves heard, we are also telling you, so that you too may realize and enjoy fellowship as partners and partakers with us. And this fellowship that we have which is a distinguishing mark of Christians is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ the Messiah. And we are now writing these things to you so that our joy in seeing you included may be full and your joy may be complete. And this is the message the message of promise which we have heard from Him and how are reporting to you: God is Light, and there is no darkness in Him at all no, not in any way. So if we say we are partakers together and enjoy fellowship with Him when we live and move and are walking about in darkness, we are both speaking falsely and do not live and practice The Truth which the Gospel presents. But if we really are living and walking in the Light, as He Himself Is in the Light , We Have True, Unbroken Fellowship with one Another, and the Blood of Jesus Christ His Son Cleanses Removes Us from All Sin and Guilt Keeps Us Cleansed from sin in all its forms and manifestations."
