DON'T LEAVE PLANTING TO GOD: I have heard people say, "Well, I'm just going to leave it up to God. Just whatever God's will, that's what will happen to me." Let's bring that down on a natural level and see if that is what you want. Let's say that I am a former who has a form. And I said "Well, I'm just leaving my forming up to God; I'm not going to plan anything, just whatever grows out there this year will be God's will for me," what do you think I will harvest? I can tell you what I'll harvest. Cockleburs, Johnson grass, pigweeds, and crabgrass. But I won't have anything to eat, nor anything that I could sell. Why? Because the earth is under a curse. You must force it to produce good things. You have to plant good seeds. Notice Jesus said, " the kingdom of God is as if a man cast seed into the ground and he should sleep and rise night and day". The seed should spring up and grow, he knows not how for the earth brings forth fruit of itself." The earth (heart and soul) is going to produce fruit. Isn't that what Jesus said? Notice that in (Mark 4), He has already established that the seed is sown in the heart of man. We hear people talk about the heart, and they put their hand over their physical heart. Jesus was not referring to the blood pump. He was referring to your Spirit (heart) are the core of your being, the real you. That part of you that is not seen with the physical eye. When something scares you, you have said, "my heart jumped up into my mouth." But where did you feel something? It was down in the pit of your stomach. That's where your spirit is. When nervous, you said, "I have butterflies in my stomach" it's where your spirit is. It those times, you were feeling something in your spirit. That spirit, the heart, is the production center. That is where the kingdom of God resides. It dwells inside of you. That's where Jesus dwells in the person of the Holy Spirit. In this kingdom within you it is capable of producing everything that you plant in it. You can plant good seeds in it are you can plant bad seeds in it. You can plant the word of God, or you can plant the words of the enemies of all humanity. Let's look again at (Matthew 12:33) "Either make the tree sound (healthy and good), and its fruit sound (healthy and good, or make the tree rotten (diseased and bad), and its fruit rotten (disease and bad); for the tree is known and recognized and judged by its fruit." You see the decision is yours not God's yours! UNWANTED SEED: We have misunderstood and have been led astray by a religious mindset. many times, for we have said, "Well, now, God knows what I mean." We speak some doubt and unbelief statements like, "Nothing I ever do works out. It always turns out bad for me." Someone may say, "I wouldn't say that if I were you." "I'm just saying it like it is." That person is also planning seed. You have heard people say this, "I have studied the Bible, and I just can't understand it. I just don't get anything out of it." They have probably been saying that for 20 years. What has happened? There spirit picked up on that. Their inner ear fed it into their heart, which said, "Shut off revelation knowledge, because they have declared they can't understand it." Remember, the part of the brain which controls speech is connected to all the other nerves of the body. So, what do you think it does to your whole system when you say, "Well it's flu season. I'll probably be the first one to catch it!" You probably will--- at least you are planning the seed. You say, "Well, I always get the flu." Your voice is picked up and sent it to your spirit, saying, "Shut down the immune system, for he or she is planting for the flu." God designed us that way. We are either death are life speaking spirits (Proverbs 18:21). "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." But He told us how to operate this on the positive side. Jesus said the kingdom of God is as if a man casts the seed into the ground. Now do you realize what Jesus is saying here? The things do not happen overnight, just as a form plants acres of seed in his fields, he has to fertilize it: then he has to let the sun, and rain's go over his fields; then he gets a crop after that it's harvest time. Pretty much the same thing with Your Sowing the Word of God in the ground of your heart, it is time for a harvest.
