DEVELOPING THE GOD KIND OF FAITH IN YOUR CONFESSION: There are people trying to believe for millions of dollars to do great things when they haven't learned to believe for the money to pay their light bill. Some people have overloaded their faith. Some people are operating on a natural head faith and trying to believe for millions. We must all learn to operate on the Abraham kind of faith. I think this is why some people have caused trouble in what you would call churches. They have gone to a seminar, where they heard someone teach, "You can have what you say." But they only got a part of what was taught and went home thinking they were a three-day wonder. They did all kinds of foolish things and called it faith. Then their pastor had to sweep up the pieces and try to put them back together. They overloaded their natural human faith and made a big splash, but they couldn't swim. Now, remember that the Word of God says, that the carnal mind is enmity against the law of God; for it is not subject to the law of God, neither, indeed, can be. (Romans 8:7) The pastor, then, thought that was what they were taught in the cemetery schools. OPERATE AT YOUR OWN LEVEL: we are going to look at the problem of people acting beyond their development. In many places you call church, many of these pastors have gone to cemetery school, and heard some intellectual lesson on the Bible. You must stay within your level of development are changes to the level of the development that the Bible does teach. The apostle Paul says study to show yourself-improve to God a workman that need not to be a shame rightly dividing the Word of Truth. (2 Timothy 2:15). You must Develop Abrahams level of the God kind of faith, and you can grow from there. However, many people are still trying to operate in a carnal state of mind and the carnal mind is enmity against God it will not submit to the law of God, which is the law of faith. But you always have to start where you are, and if you are really serious about growing in the things of God; to please God then you have to start doing the Bible not just talking about the Bible. That may sound elementary, but many are being helped by understanding that fact. You just can't bill the second story house on a vacant lot, so to speak. Start where you are and know where you are going. Jesus said that no man would start to build a house without first counting the costs. This is good advice, but sometimes when people get turned onto faith, they failed to count the cost because of what they are confessing. Some of these things concerning faith have been left unsaid. But they need to be said, for they will keep you from falling into the same trap. Always develop Abraham are the God kind of faith that is based upon what God's Word said, not upon what someone else said are how you are feeling. support the things, you are believing The God of Abraham for before you obtain them by the Word of God. Yes, you can use God's kind of faith to get things that you cannot afford. First count the cost of maintaining the things you want by saying what God has said about them. Many have missed it by not developing their God kind of faith to bring in the money to take care of what they believe for and obtained. Then they turned there tones down on faith and say, "AH, this stuff doesn't work." But it works so well that it got them in trouble financially. They didn't understand how to work it properly. They found a way to get things, but didn't have the common sense to sit down and count the cost. Always count the cost. Look before you leap, as the old saying goes--- and that's good advice. FAITH ARE PRESUMPTION: you must draw a line somewhere between faith and presumption. You must use Biblical sense with faith. Don't throw away all common sense and all good business practices just because you get turned onto faith. Everyone is ignorant--- just about on different things. I'm not making fun of anyone; I'm just pointing out the way people think. They want to please God, but many times they have more zeal than knowledge. You don't throw away all good business sense are common sense just because you get turned onto faith. Use the faith of Abraham and good business practices. Look at (Hebrews 11:1) "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." When is faith? the Scripture says it's Now: faith is the substance of things hoped for, it is the evidence of things not seen. "Therefore, it is of faith that it might be by grace, to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that which is of the law (law of Moses), but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all." (Romans 4:16)
