COME SIT WITH ME !

COME SIT WITH ME ! You may feel awful the whole time you're saying what God has said, you may feel agitated and torn up inside, but we don't base our lives on our feelings. We base them on faith in the eternal Word of God. So overrule your feelings. Take your place in the rest of God, and notify the devil that he will not come in and disturb you. You are in The Secret Place of the Most High God, that's if you're constantly in the Word of God renewing your mind daily, in His throne room behind closed door. If you'll do that, the peace of Jesus will immediately go to work on you. Before you know it, all that enter turmoil will just drain out. The agitation that seems as if it would never leave will evaporate and , you'll be standing there with a big smile on your face, giving glory to God. I know because it's happened to me more times than I can count. I'll give you one big rip-roaring shout of praise to God and the knot that had threatened to put a permanent kink in my belly will be gone in an instant. I'm left shouting hallelujah and wondering what I was so upset about anyway ! (1 Peter 5:5-9) gives us the key to experiencing that kind of breakthrough: "Be clothed with humility: for God resists the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: casting all your care upon him; for he care for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walk about, seeking whom he may devour: whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world." How do you resist the devil? By telling them what is written; have you ever wondered why Jesus Faith in God the Father was so highly developed, it is because he only said what he heard the Father say! This is why the apostle Paul said fight the good fight of faith: you used the Word of God which is sword of Spirit, saying what God has said! Has it ever occurred to you that when you worry about things, you are actually put ourselves in opposition to God ? We step into a place of pride where we're trying to be our source and acting like everything depends on us. When we find ourselves in that position, we must change our attitudes and clothe ourselves with humility. Clothing yourself is a purposeful thing. It doesn't happen automatically. Just like when you got born again, the promises of God are not automatically, you must labor to enter in, and its through your faith that you enter into His rest. When you get up in the morning, your clothes don't run out of the closet and jump on you. You have to make a decision about what to wear. Then, you must take action, and put the clothes on. The same thing is true when it comes to casting your cares on THE LORD. It's the same thing when the preacher tell you to come to the altar and live your problems thereIt is written (Luke 12: 22) "And Jesus said to his disciples: Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious and troubled with cares about your life, this is talking about your natural life, and to what you will have to eat; or about your body, as to what you will have to wear. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes." Again our job as believers or Christians; is seek first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you (Matthew 6: 33).. You must decide to do it, and then act on that decision.
