COME BACK TO THE EDEN WAY, GOD'S WAY !

COME BACK TO THE EDEN WAY, GOD'S WAY ! It's impossible to have that kind of fun when you are working for a living. What's more, no matter how hard you work, you can't earn the kind of wealth THE BLESSING brings. Yet, believers by the millions still try to do it. Despite the clear teaching in GOD'S WORD that He is the one who causes us to prosper, they cling to the conviction that they must earn a living because it is so ingrained in them, it's hard to shake. I wrestled with it myself for a long time. But THE LORD finally freed me from it by directing me to (Romans 4:3-4): "Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt." One day while reading those verses, THE LORD pointed out to me that any part of THE BLESSING we try to earn is not by grace. Then He asked me a question: Bobby is it possible to earn the new birth ? "Of course not," I answered. "We could never work hard enough to earn salvation, or deliverance, or healing, or preservation, and soundness. Working for it just gets in the way. The new birth can only be received by faith through grace." Just like all the other gifts. Is it possible to earn healing ? He continued. "No, divine healing is a gift of grace that was purchased for us by the stripes of Jesus. We can't earn it. Like the new birth, it must be received by simple faith." What about the Baptism in the Holy Spirit ? "The same thing is true there. People struggle and try to be good enough to earn the Baptism in the Holy Spirit for years and found it didn't work. They discovered that, like every other part of THE BLESSING, it is received by faith through grace." Bobby, if you didn't earn your salvation; and you didn't earn your healing; and you didn't earn the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, why do you think you could earn your prosperity ? For me, that's settled the issue forever. I saw all with absolute clarity that just as Jesus was made sin for us so we could be made righteous, just as He bore our sicknesses on the cross so we could be healed, He became poor for our sakes, so we, through His poverty, might be rich. No believer who will put faith in the fullness of what THE LORD JESUS has done for us will ever have to toil for a living again. Jesus not only provided a way back to the Father through the new birth, He has also restored the Eden way. Because He has given us back THE BLESSING, we can leave the world's s stinking mammon-mentality behind and stop trying to meet our own needs .If you don't live by faith on your job, you're going to starve trying to earn a living. You're supposed to work to give To the Gospel of the kingdom of God. Not the kingdoms of this world ! Wherefore, if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith ? Therefore they no thought, saying, what shall we eat ? Or, what shall we drink ? Or, wherewithal shall we be clothed ? For after all these things do the Gentiles seek: for your heavenly father knows that you have need of all these things. But seek you first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. (Matthew 6: 30- through 33)
