BE ''FULLY PERSUADED'' "He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. And therefore, it was imputed unto him for righteousness. Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him, But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised Jesus our Lord from the dead." (Romans 6:20--24). God the Holy Spirit didn't put this in the Bible just so we would know it was imputed to Abraham as righteousness. It is recorded that we might know that it is imputed to us who Believe the same way Abraham did--- through our faith! God's Word is the object of our faith. You need to get your mouth in motion by saying what God said. Do you realize that Abraham didn't have the Bible to read the account of this? He would have rejoiced to be able to read what we are reading. Job would have been far ahead if he had been able to read the first chapter of the book of Job and found out the devil did it and not God. But we sometimes forget that they didn't have the same information we have. (2 Peter 1:2--4) records this, "Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus, our Lord, according as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertains unto life and godliness through the knowledge of him that has called us to glory and virtue (power); by which are given unto us exceedingly great and precious promises, that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust (Your desire)." It's through the knowledge of God and of Jesus that we are made partakers of the divine nature; However, you and I have to choose to be partakers through the knowledge of him that has called us unto glory and virtue. God is not going to make you do anything: the Holy Spirit is not going to take anything from you, and make you do anything, it doesn't work that way you and I are free moral agents you have to make a choice to serve God or the devil, you can't serve them both at the same time! Abraham staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief a form of disobedience). He would not consider his body. He wasn't putting faith in his body; he was putting faith in God's Word. It's amazing how people put faith and trust in the natural things of this world, I was guilty of that myself. But when I got into the Word for myself and started praying the Scriptures, that the eyes of my understanding would be enlightened, and God has given unto me the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him and of Jesus. (Ephesians 1:15--21; 3:14 through 21) You're not going to get this kind of teaching form what you call church. You're going to get something that's going to make you feel good, and about time you go back to your residence you will be back into the same position! The first thing God did to Abram, to build his faith was to change his name to Abraham. You know that God made Abraham rich, and so, he had a lot of people working for him, and when he heard his name called Abraham: he was hearing father of many nations; Abraham where do you want the sheep he was hearing father of a multitude. Name meant something back then, and they do today. Many people today are not fully persuaded Of the Word of God; they have been taught many traditional errors, and many are saying that if God don't do it, I have a plan B, the problem is God has already done everything that he's going to do: we have to do our part, get your mind renewed with the Word of God and get your mouth in action saying what God said! (Mark 11: 22- 23 and 24)
