A REBORN RACE !

A REBORN RACE ! There is so many altered versions of Christianity: that is why so many believers go from building to building looking for what fits their lifestyle. But, your life is hidden in Christ Jesus. For God hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him (verse 21). Notice, that verse doesn't say that God has accounted righteousness to us. He hasn't just given us credit for a righteousness we didn't really possess. That's an Old Covenant Concept. That's what he That did for people like Abraham before Jesus came to complete the work of redemption. He counted their sin debt paid on the basis of what Jesus would one day do for them. He treated them as righteous despite their fallen nature and condition. "Isn't that what God does for us? " Certainly. He has counseled our sin debt As Surely As He did theris. He has recorded in the Lamb's book of life that we were crucified on Calvary. It shows that we died, when tailored and suffered the full penalty for our sinS. Heaven has it recorded that we were risen from the dead in righteousness and seated on the throne of grace at God's right hand. On earth, we have it recorded that Jesus did those things. But, Heaven has it recorded in our name because He was our substitute. He did not do these things for Himself; Everything He did was for us. As New Testament believers, however, we have more than just a legal record of righteousness in heaven. We've actually been made the righteousness of God in Christ, as spotless and without sin as Jesus Himself. To do that He had to make us new creatures. He couldn't take our old sin nature and make it right anymore than we could take a beaten-up Volkswagen to the repair shop and get it back a Cadillac. Such a thing would be impossible. A Cadillac has to be manufactured. It's made to be a Cadillac. The same thing is true spiritually. Truly righteous men and women must be created or manufactured that way. When they are born again, there are old, fouled-up, sinful spirits are, by the power of Almighty God, manufactured into the spiritual equivalent of a Rolls-Royce--- the car of Kings and Queens ! As I said before I'll say it again many of the dear people of God do not know who they are in Christ Jesus; that's why the devil Lords over them through their minds and their flesh. See just going to church doesn't mean that you are saved no more than go on and join in a health spa means that you are getting fit. You must read your Bible and receive what God has said about you. And by the way, faith in God doesn't come by reading; it comes by hearing and by hearing the word of God. Many people look at the natural man, but the true born-again believer walks by faith and not by sight.
