A Balance Built into the Law of Faith: If the Word of God is abiding (continuing) in you, then the will of God is abiding in you! The problem is that many dear people of God keep casting the Word of God out. They cast out the Word of God, and just do their own thing, because the circumstances and situations seems more real to them than the Word of God. The Word of God is not abiding in them. For example, the woman who wanted to believe for a married man to marry her. Because that was what she desired, she wanted to use her faith to violate God's will. There is no promise in God's Word that will produce faith for something that is evil. God won't be a partner to evil of any kind. Now there is no scriptural grounds for that kind of agreement. So, there couldn't be any Bible faith for such evil. Remember, every person is tempted when he or she is Enticed and drawn away by there on lust. That's why no man can say that when he is tempted, he or she is tempted of God for God temps no man with evil. The built--in balance in the Law of faith is this: if your heart condemns you, then there will be no scriptural faith for that matter. It will be shorted out. God didn't say that you are going to get your prayers answered just because you did the good part. We must be careful that we don't get the idea that we are earning God's answer to our prayers by doing the things that please God. That would be works, and yes, the Old Testament covenant is based on works, that's why no man can be justified by using the Old Testament principles. The just shall live by faith. But by doing the whole Word of God, you are obtaining a good conscience towards God. The apostle Paul said, "Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience (1 Timothy 3:9). How could anyone have a clear conscience about using faith and agreement to steal another man's wife or husband? Could you have a pure conscience if you were believing and confessing that your needs would be met by someone losing their billfold or purse so that you could find it and keep their money? Such thoughts will bring condemnation. You will have a spiritual heart attack. By that, I mean your own heart will attack your confession by doubting that God will be a part to such thing. So, there is no foundation for the idea that through faith we will get a lot of things that God doesn't want us to have. There is a built--in control-- holding faith in a pure conscience. Yet, God's will is involved in (John 15:7). If The Word abides [continues in you, then you have the will of God in you. Always remember that you must find the will of God before you start confessing or believing for anything. Base your confession on scriptural promises. When your confession is a promise of God's Word, then you have God's will in your mouth. You missed it when you start confessing things without that scriptural basis, for the faith or divine energy that is capable of possessing the promise is in the promise itself. So, you can see why it makes a difference when your bases of confession are the Words of God. It's not just mechanical as some would suggest. It's a spiritual operation. This is the way God designed it. Your words plus God's Words work for you to cause the reality of the promise. When you work it, it works. If you don't do your part, it won't produce are work. Remember Peter said, "God has given us all things that pertain unto life and godliness." And He has given it to us through the exceeding great and precious promises." (Luke 6:38) is one of those promises. (2 Corinthians 9:10) is a precious promise concerning finances.
